It moves by releasing a pressurized blast of seawater from its rear to launch itself. It's not the best at angling these blasts, and tends to crash into objects as it flies.
When Shelldum gather in a swarm, they move in perfect unison as if they were but one Pokémon. At night, it burrows a hole in the seafloor with its broad tongue to make a place to sleep.
