Remokern kept the need for water to breathe from Remoraid, but also the need for extreme sunlight from Sunkern. It lives in near constant pain whether above or below water.

Remokern try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution. A Remokern uses its abdominal muscles to forcefully expel swallowed water, then shoot down flying prey.
