Raikern use their tails to ground them as they discharge excess electricity from their cheek pouches. They often hop about in puddles of water to keep themselves moisturized.
Raikern try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution. If it stores too much electricity, its behavior turns aggressive.
