Pupiper are mostly sedentary, and blend into their environment, filtering the water and digesting any nutrients. Should a predator spot them, they can expel water at great speeds and dart off, spewing a toxic stream to deter them.
Pupiper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. A Pupiper creates a gas inside its body that it ejects under compression to propel itself like a jet.
