Pumpraid's wide mouth can generate an intensely bright light. Living in the darker depths of the ocean, flashing this light blinds attackers and gives Pumpraid ample opportunity to escape predators.

A Pumpraid uses its abdominal muscles to forcefully expel swallowed water, then shoot down flying prey. The pumpkin body is inhabited by a spirit trapped in this world.
