When Poryrina is attacked by an antivirus software, the barbs on its back spring out and inject the antivirus with a corrupting poison. With the antivirus neutralized, Poryrina can safely chew up the code into an edible garbage data paste.
When it is with its friends or family, its barbs are tucked away to prevent injury. Additional software was installed to make it a better Pokémon.
