The sacs on Pikachu's cheeks have moved down onto Monferno's palms, allowing Pikaferno to dispense lightning from its hands. While the tip of its tail is no longer on fire, Pikaferno can reignite it when the time comes.

To intimidate attackers, it stretches the fire on its tail to make itself appear bigger. It stores electricity in the electric sacs on its cheeks.
