When threatened, Paraorb's body opens up to reveal strings of mycelium, sometimes forming a hand to use for attacking predators. On extremely rare occasions, however, Paraorb will explode into a mess of mycelium.
They appear in great numbers at electric power plants. Paraode are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
