The fungal protrusion from its head generates psychic power, lifting Paraish out of the water and into the air. Once its tail gets a solid grip on a tree branch, Paraish's gnashing teeth can gnaw through the solid wood of the tree trunk.

When it unleashes its psychic power from the protuberance on its head, the grating sound of grinding teeth echoes through the area. Paraish are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
