When Paraura was first revived, the mushroom on its back was thought to be a tochukaso mushroom. However, it was discovered to actually be an ancient species, previously assumed to be lost to time.
This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years. POKENAME are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
