Pakern scuttles slowly across the forest floor. Once it finds a tree that looks large and healthy, it buries itself beneath its roots to feed and will not resurface until it evolves or the tree dies.

Pakern try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution. A Pakern has parasitic tochukaso mushrooms growing on its back.
