Pamuku spends most of the day half-buried within loose soil and feasting on dirt. If threatened, it spews out a hunk of mycelium from its mouth that acts as an extra limb to pummel its would-be attacker.

It can eject its internal organs, which it uses to engulf its prey or battle enemies. A Pamuku has parasitic tochukaso mushrooms growing on its back.
