When these Omawoodo ran rampant in the past, they would mimic a plant called Banette's Seaweed, pouncing on prey who swam too close. However, these plants have gone extinct, so Omawoodo risk becoming endangered because of their obvious swaying.

It mimics a tree to avoid being attacked by enemies. An Omawoodo uses its tentacles to capture its prey.
