Wild Octilure use their top tentacle to cling to cave ceilings as they watch for prey. When prey draws near, they will shoot at them with burning-hot bubble bullets and then pull their bodies up to them using their other tentacles.

Being consumed in Octilure's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind. It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow.
