Nidoh has a strong parental instinct over the smaller forest creatures that roam its home. Drawing too close to them will cause Nidoh to breathe an acrid and mildly poisonous rainbow smoke as a warning.
Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy. When it is with its friends or family, its barbs are tucked away to prevent injury.
