Tyrogue's desire to train gave this Pokémon great agility and defensive instincts. Its large and sensitive ears help it detect danger quickly, allowing Nidorogue to dodge attacks and release poisonous chemicals from those same ears to protect itself.

Nidorogue become stressed out if they do not get to train every day. Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon.
