Nidotu like to be off the ground and climb up their Trainer to sit on their shoulder. They gently dig in their barbs to keep themselves stable, which has been reported to feel similar to acupuncture, calming the Trainer.
It runs up short trees that grow on the savanna to peck at new shoots. Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon.
