Wild Nidoras are usually found on snowy mountains and can move quickly by sliding down the slopes. They are highly aggressive towards skiers, and often poison them or their Pokémon with their venomous horn and toxic spikes.
People have driven Nidoras almost to the point of extinction. A Nidoras's thick tail packs enormously destructive power capable of toppling a metal transmission tower.
