Miniper often get buried in mud when they crash into swamps. The stagnant waters prevent their rocky bodies from decaying so many Miniper remain in these swamps until awakened by a Trainer.
Miniper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy.
