A wild Miniter will begin to fade if it stays within the atmosphere of the same planet for longer than a few weeks. Groups of them will fly away in search of new worlds, flying up in reverse meteor showers. Poké Ball technology mitigates this need.
If a Miniter beckons you while it is floating in darkness, don't approach it. Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy.
