Milobite make their living by hunting marine Pokémon in secluded locations. They love pearls and keep them in their nest; there seems to be a link between the shimmer of their scales and how many pearls they have collected in their lifetime.
There is a long-held belief that medicine made from its scales will heal even incurable illnesses. It is said to live at the bottom of large lakes.
