Metaper builds a cocoon to protect its soft body whilst it grows strong enough to evolve. As it nears evolution, bits of the cocoon start to flake off. This was used in some cultures as a traditional way to make Energy Powder.
POKENAME usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Its shell is as hard as an iron slab.
