Marshgon are often found partially submerged in pools of mud, which protect them from the sun. By flapping their wings beneath the mud to churn it, they can create a powerful downward suction to sink anyone inside.

The flapping of its wings sounds like singing. Its toughened hind legs enable it to stand upright.
