When stressed, Magnepede produces large amounts of poison by absorbing magnetic energy. This magnetic pull often draws Onix from deep underground, confusing them greatly when they emerge above ground.
Highly aggressive, it uses the claws near its neck to dig into its opponents and poison them. It evolved from exposure to a special magnetic field.
