Magrow drips lava from its beak into burrows to scare prey to exit the other entrances, where it can snap them up. The hardened rock shell limits its aerial mobility, but does limit the chance of it causing inadvertent wildfires.
Its long neck and elongated beak are ideal for catching prey in soil or water. The shell on its back is made of hardened magma.
