Magsea live in tropical saltwater environments. Due to their bright colors, they are popular in aquariums; however, they possess an extremely high body heat, so the water must have excellent temperature control to house other types of Pokémon.
By cleverly flicking the fins on its back side to side, it moves in any direction while facing forward. If a Magsea is spouting yellow flames from its mouth, it is in good health.
