Lomshrew live in desert oases, completely submerged except for the leaf on their head, but will leap out to surprise anyone who approaches the water. If Lomshrew leaves the water for too long, their skin quickly dries, and their leaves soon wilt.
When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly. In the evening, it takes great delight in popping out of rivers and startling people.
