Lompass settles itself into ponds to soak for a majority of the day. It inhales water up through its bush-covered nose, filtering out minerals and detritus, creating pure water that flows from its head back down into the pond.

It exudes strong magnetism from all over. In the evening, it takes great delight in popping out of rivers and startling people.
