The crystal-clear water on its head is mistaken by many other Pokémon for a refreshing fountain. Tragically, however, it is highly poisonous.
It disguises itself as a calm pond, luring in thirsty Pokémon. However, the water inside its shell is actually a poisonous fluid that weakens its prey, allowing Laplume to easily feed on them.
In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a POKENAME turns yellow with the powder as it walks. People have driven POKENAME almost to the point of extinction.
