Lairwig's steel shell plating is removable, revealing soft soil and plant-life within. It guards this spot fiercely and will only allow extremely close friends to see it and tend to the plants it grows.
Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water. When two Lairwig meet in the wild, they fight for territory by bashing into each other with their steel bodies.
