Komreon strike their scales against each other to create sparks, which cause their fur to catch fire. The sensation is soothing for Komreon, and outside of battle they will often ignite themselves when they need to rest.

Komreon's fluffy fur releases heat into the air so that its body does not get excessively hot. Its rigid scales function as offense and defense.
