Gases spew out from the end of its tail, causing it to flail wildly. The weight of the flailing tail causes Koffrill to lose control of its footing, and it will go meandering in all sorts of directions as a result.
Its tail, which is packed with nutrition, is very bouncy like a rubber ball. Getting up close to a Koffrill will give you a chance to observe, through its thin skin, the toxic gases swirling inside.
