The key-like shape of its legs makes Klefby an excellent lockpick. Its often found scuttling over piles of securely guarded valuables, which it seems to have no attachment to.
Klefby live in holes dug into beaches. It never lets go of a key that it likes, so people give it the keys to vaults and safes as a way to prevent crime.
