Found in silty rivers, Kingper spend most of their time hidden in the mud, filtering through it to extract any nutrients. They expel a mucus that disperses through the mud, which is picked up by other Kingper in a form of communication.

Kingper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It waves its huge, oversized claw in the air to communicate with others.
