Hounper work well together to catch prey but then squabble amongst themselves on who gets to make the killing blow. More often than not, this allows their prey to slip away unnoticed, causing the Hounper to argue amongst themselves even more.
Hounper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Hounper communicate with each other using a variety of cries to corner their prey.
