While it can appear unsteady as it walks around of two feet, Hootring has exceptional balance. When moving between trees it can walk along thin branches without ever falling to the ground, as long as they are sturdy enough to hold its weight.

In forests, it is said that there are many streams and towering trees where an Hootring gathers food. It has an internal organ that senses the earth's rotation.
