Ho-cruel can be found drifting out in the open sea, their jewelled head refracting light into a beautiful rainbow. Their beauty is deceptive as their many tentacles are tipped with feathers coated with a paralytic poison.

It lives in complex rock formations on the ocean floor and traps prey using its 80 tentacles. Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy.
