Goluor was created to serve as a sentinel. When sensing danger to its Trainer, it bursts from its shell-like casing, unleashing immense power to protect them. Once the threat is neutralized, it reverts to its dormant state.
Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. It is said that POKENAME were ordered to protect people and Pokémon by the ancient people who made them.
