Glaceuna typically evolve during fall after a long hot summer. They keep themselves cool by enveloping themselves in a shell of ice to give themselves shade.

It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree. As a protective technique, it can completely freeze its fur to make its hairs stand like needles.
