Girapod has a powerful sense of smell, which allows it to detect other Pokémon nearby, or even if any were in the area recently. Unfortunately, it cannot make great use of this ability as it doesn't move very quickly.

Its shell is as hard as an iron slab. A Girapod is an herbivore--it eats grass and tree shoots.
