When Exegguthorn fires the spikes from the tops of its heads, it also uncorks the egg yolk that fills them. It uses this spraying egg yolk to plaster spikes it has fired so that they keep poking and injuring the foe long after the battle.
They attach themselves to cave ceilings, firing steel spikes at targets passing beneath them. Originally from the tropics, Exegguthorn's heads grow larger from exposure to strong sunlight.
