Electatik must absorb static electricity by biting others in order to maintain an electric charge. It will cover itself with crackling lightning in order to dissuade hosts from smacking it away until it is done recharging.
They attach themselves to large-bodied Pokémon and absorb static electricity, which they store in an electric pouch. When a storm approaches, it competes with others to scale heights that are likely to be stricken by lightning.
