Scientists are unsure if Duntu exist naturally in the wild due to their obscurity and tendency to teleport away the moment they detect someone. Even a strong Trainer's Duntu will weakly flutter around, unable to properly carry its own weight.
It runs up short trees that grow on the savanna to peck at new shoots. Its drill-tipped tail is used to burrow into the ground backwards.
