Wild Duntula use their drill-tipped tails to create burrows for their young to safely hatch within. Although they will craft elaborate electric webs to try and protect their young, they are easily startled and quick to flee.
They employ an electrically charged web to trap their prey. Its drill-tipped tail is used to burrow into the ground backwards.
