Perhaps due to their lives as Dunpods, Dunfree have a tendency to sleep hanging upside down, their drill-like tails burrowed into trees or rocks to hang from. They also use their tails to tap into sap within trees, to the benefit of many.

It has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers. Its drill-tipped tail is used to burrow into the ground backwards.
