Only at night can Drifbtine be spotted gliding high up in the sky above tropical shorelines. It rests during the day, absorbing the ambient heat of the ocean for later use; at night, it releases the stored heat, allowing Drifbtine to float.

On sunny days, schools of Drifbtine can be seen elegantly leaping over the waves. It's drowzy in daytime, but flies off in the evening in big groups.
