Digbat are almost blind, due to spending their whole lives either in pitch-black caverns or in the tunnels they dig. Instead, they use ultrasonic waves to detect obstacles while flying, and their sense of smell to detect prey while digging.
While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. Digbat are raised in most farms.
