Clefwhirl can be found in the lakes left from meteorite impacts, often nesting around the remnants of the meteorite. They are protective of their lakes, spraying Water Guns at people who try to collect samples from their home.

Its body surface is always wet and slick with an oily fluid. On every night of a full moon, they come out to play.
