Owners of Chimecatty say it is quite affectionate towards them. It will lightly wrap its ribbon tail around its owner. When a Chimecatty is around loved ones, it purrs beautiful songs as it sleeps.
Chimecatty inherently know nine different cries that they use to communicate with each other and their young. They love to brush their large tails against others that they feel close to or those that they trust.
Rather than keeping a permanent lair, it habitually seeks comfortable spots and sleeps there. They fly about very actively when the hot season arrives.
