Charpix experiences pain whenever any of its tails are put out, so it avoids places where there is a lot of water. It spends a long time carefully grooming each of its tails that it rarely has time to play with other Pokémon.
It can freely control fire, making fiery orbs fly like will-o'-the-wisps. The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions.
